Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

Commerceflo operates on a no lock-in philosophy. You can cancel your subscription at any time — no penalties, no cancellation fees, no phone calls required.

We believe you should stay on Commerceflo because it helps your business grow, not because you're contractually trapped. Our cancellation process is designed to be simple and self-serve, and your data is always preserved regardless of your plan status.

This policy describes how cancellation works for each plan type. For information about refund eligibility, see our Refund Policy.

2. Cancelling a Monthly Plan

Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time — no notice period required.

How to cancel: Navigate to Account Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription. You will be prompted to confirm your cancellation and optionally provide feedback.

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You retain full platform access — all features, channels, and AI agents — until that date.
  • No cancellation fees or early termination charges.
  • You will not be charged again after cancellation.
  • After your paid period ends, your account moves to the free tier automatically. Your data is fully preserved.

3. Cancelling an Annual Plan

Annual subscriptions can also be cancelled at any time, with no penalties.

How to cancel: Account Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription. The same self-serve process applies.

  • After cancellation, your service continues through the full end of your prepaid annual period. You do not lose access immediately.
  • No prorated refunds are issued for remaining months (see our Refund Policy for the 30-day exception on initial annual purchases).
  • When the annual period ends, your account moves to the free tier. All data is preserved.

Example: If you purchase an annual plan on January 1 and cancel on March 15, you retain full platform access through December 31. Your account then moves to the free tier on January 1 of the following year.

4. Enterprise Contracts

Enterprise agreements are governed by the specific terms outlined in your signed contract with Commerceflo. Key general provisions for Enterprise customers:

  • Standard notice period for cancellation or non-renewal: 30 days before your contract renewal date.
  • To cancel or discuss your Enterprise contract, contact your dedicated Customer Success Manager directly or email enterprise@commerceflo.ai.
  • Custom SLA, data residency, and contractual terms defined in your Enterprise agreement take precedence over this general policy.

5. What Happens to Your Data

Your data is never deleted when you cancel. Commerceflo preserves all merchant commerce data indefinitely on the free tier.

  • All product catalogs, descriptions, variants, and images are preserved.
  • Your full order history is retained and accessible.
  • Customer records associated with your account remain intact.
  • Inventory records, B2B accounts, and pricing configurations are stored.
  • Historical analytics and reporting data are maintained.

You may export your data at any time — before, during, or after cancellation — in standard formats:

  • Products: CSV or JSON export via Settings → Data Export
  • Orders: CSV or JSON export via Settings → Data Export
  • Customers: CSV or JSON export via Settings → Data Export

If you later decide to reactivate a paid plan, all your data and configurations are restored instantly — no re-setup required.

6. What Gets Deactivated on Cancellation

When your paid subscription ends and your account moves to the free tier, the following features are suspended (not deleted — they resume immediately upon upgrade):

  • AI Agents: Paused. No AI credit consumption. All agent configurations are saved and resume on upgrade.
  • Marketplace connections: Disconnected from active channels (Amazon, Walmart, eBay, etc.). Product and order data from those channels is preserved; active syncing stops.
  • B2B Commerce portal: Locked. Wholesale customer accounts and pricing tiers are preserved.
  • Multi-Vendor Marketplace module: Locked.
  • POS system: Locked. POS transaction history is preserved.
  • API access and webhooks: Disabled. API keys are retained but inactive.
  • Priority and phone support: Reverts to standard email-only support.

What you keep on the free tier:

  • One DTC storefront channel (read-only)
  • Full read access to all historical commerce data
  • Data export capabilities
  • Access to the Commerceflo dashboard to view reports

7. Cancelling Add-Ons

Individual add-ons can be removed without cancelling your main subscription plan. This allows you to right-size your Commerceflo footprint without a full cancellation.

How to remove an add-on: Account Settings → Billing → Manage Add-ons. Select the add-on you wish to remove and confirm.

  • Add-on removal takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
  • You retain access to the add-on feature through the end of the period you have paid for.
  • No partial-month refunds on add-ons (see Refund Policy).

8. Reactivating After Cancellation

Changed your mind? You can upgrade from the free tier back to a paid plan at any time — no re-registration, no data loss, no setup fees.

  • Navigate to Account Settings → Billing → Choose a Plan and select your desired subscription.
  • Your full product catalog, order history, customer records, and channel configurations are restored instantly.
  • Marketplace channels can be reconnected with a single click.
  • AI agents resume immediately with your saved configurations.
  • API access and webhooks are re-enabled.
  • No reactivation fee or setup charge applies.

9. Agency Partner Cancellation

Agency partners who wish to cancel their Commerceflo Agency Partnership may do so at any time by contacting partners@commerceflo.ai.

  • Client accounts are not affected. Merchant accounts managed under your agency continue as independent accounts. Merchants retain their own data and can choose their own plan independently.
  • Any outstanding referral commissions accrued up to the cancellation date will be paid out in the next scheduled payment cycle.
  • Agency-specific pricing agreements and white-label configurations are terminated upon partnership cancellation.
